A gala concert featuring the Stars of the Festival and an Awards Night, at Bridgewater United Church, on Saturday, May 30th, brought the 31st Annual Provincial Music Festival to a very successful conclusion. Local Library Recipient of $62,000 Piano

In addition to state-of-the-art technology, a beautiful rooftop deck, two cafes, and its countless reading nooks and study areas, the Halifax Central Library now boasts another compelling feature: a shiny, new grand piano, donated by local philanthropist Peggy Corkum.

An official dedication ceremony will take place in the near future.
