The Bay Chorale – Seeking New Members!

The Bay Chorale is embarking on our tenth season of making choral music in St. Margaret’s Bay, and we invite new members to join us for our celebrations!  We are delighted to be under the continued leadership of Christina Murray, Artistic Director, and Maureen McGee, Accompanist.  As we celebrate and reflect on ten years of singing, we will also be looking forward: this season’s programming will include some new configurations and repertoire, including the world premiere of an original work commissioned in celebration of this milestone anniversary.
 
The Bay Chorale is an adult community choir founded on the goal of providing a choral singing opportunity for experienced singers in and around the St. Margaret’s Bay area.  Prospective singers are invited to an information and voice placement session on September 14, 7:15 PM at St. Luke’s United Church, 5374 St. Margaret’s Bay Road, Upper Tantallon.  Our 10th anniversary season includes a new twist…our holiday concert will feature a men’s chorus, with separate repertoire presented by a women’s chorus.  The primary work for the December concert will be Vivaldi’s Gloriafor women’s voices.   Rehearsals will run September-December for the women’s chorus and November-December for the men’s chorus.
