Dartmouth Community Concert Association (DCCA) opened its 63rd season with a performance by Atlantic String Machine, PEI’s dynamic ensemble of string players, on Friday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. The performers for this season of DCCA are:

The Aeolian Singers open their 2019-20 season for the third year under artistic leadership of Heather Fraser, reflecting on the season and their camaraderie and love of singing with In Good Company. The women’s choir will present a pair of these In Good Company concerts in November, and also take a singing road trip to Wolfville next March, closing Dartmouth Community Concerts season in the spring in an eclectic season of great music for women’s voices (Veritas).…Read More
A Christian-based theatre company is partnering with a local synagogue to present one of musical theatre’s most beloved shows in Halifax. Annapolis Valley based St. Joseph’s Stage Prophets Theatre Company in partnership with Halifax’s Beth Israel Synagogue will present its production of Fiddler on the Roof at the Spatz Theatre with three shows on November 2-3. Halifax violinist Gillian Smith will launch her debut album, Into the Stone, featuring music for solo violin by five Canadian women composers on September 25.
