The Music Room Chamber Players’ Series – Sixth Season Opening
No more worrying about what to do Wednesday nights! The twenty-one concerts in The Music Room Chamber Players’ sixth series are wonderfully eclectic with tangos, tabla and harp, Jasmin Lacasse-Roy (solo guitar), Sageev Oore accompanying silent film and with percussion, clarinet and piano.
But the series also is loaded with standard repertoire: piano recitals by Walter Delahunt, Peter Allen (The Goldberg Variations) and Lucas Porter, string quartet concerts with the Blue Engine String Quartet and the Djokic Quartet, a voice recital with beloved soprano Suzie LeBlanc, violin recitals by Robert Uchida and Mark Leeand a piano trio concert with Lala Lee and friends.…

Piano soloist Barbara Pritchard plays as much Canadian music as she possibly can.
“There’s a huge variety of styles, everything from traditional to experimental,” she says.
“There’s so much good Canadian music out there, that I want to do my bit.”
